Fresh off the heels of last week’s report of the discontinuing of the NES Classic, A report from Eurogamer citing “sources close to the company” says that a SNES microconsole is scheduled to launch in time for Christmas, and that Nintendo is sticking with the easy plug-and-play format of the micro NES.
This is something that we guessed might happen after the surprise (to nintendo) hit in the NES Classic. I for one will start hoarding my pennies now so that i can grab this at launch. Granted what stopped me from the NES Classic was not funds but supplies. Hopefully Nintendo makes more this time around.
