EA Access Review Update: DLC

Try Amazon Prime Free for 30 Days

When I last left you dear reader on the topic of EA Access I told you if there were titles in the Vault that a $30 year subscription to the service was worth the money and then I left you to get lost in the world of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

One thing I did not think about at the time of my review was “what about DLC for games you download from the Vault?”

So I went through the EA Access FAQ but couldn’t find anything about DLC for games that have it.  So I did whatever everyone in this technology advanced age does and I went to Twitter to ask @EAAccess about DLC.

Not only did they get back to me very quickly but I also had a pleasant conversation with them afterwards.

As you can see the answer is yes you can get DLC for any game that you download from the Vault.  So games like Battlefield 4 and Titan Fall you can get the DLC map packs for those games, as well as the newly released DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition.  That’s a nice added bonus for the games that are in the Vault and gives you the option to have everything anyone who bought the game has.

As for me, I’m going to play through Dragon Age first and if I want more from that experience I’ll probably grab the DLC for it.
