Yes you read that headline right and not I’m not referring to Rare Ware which features Banjo and Kazooie and Perfect Dark, nope, there is an actual emulator on the Xbox One currently.

Called Win64E10 it’s an emulator that has been approved by Microsoft and will only cost you $9.99.  From there you only have to download your emulators (we mean legal backups of N64 games you already own, right loyal reader, you would never us emulators illegally would you) to secondary hard drive and then plug that hard drive into your Xbox One and upload your “back-ups” to your Xbox One.

However, I doubt this will be ten dollars well spent since I’m sure once word of this reaches Nintendo (and it’s reached me so it’s reached them) I’m sure they’ll send a DMC take down over to Microsoft who will then remove Win64E10 from their app store, it’s only a matter of time.

Also, you can check the video below to see the quality at which the games run (here’s a hint, it’s spotty at best).

So what are your thoughts loyal reader?  Are you going to rush home to down load Win64?  Or are you like me and play your N64 games in which God (Miyamoto) had intended on the N64 with it’s wonky (yet the greatest) controller?  Let us know in the comments below.

UPDATE 10:51 AM:  It would appear Microsoft has removed Win64 from the store.  We’ll keep you posted is they came to this on their own or Nintendo shut it down.
