Nintendo and DENA have announced their first mobile app and it’s… drumroll please!

And… um, so yeah, it’s ah, Miitomo.  What the fuck Nintendo?!  You’ve got Mario, Star Fox, Zelda, Kirby, Pokemon, and even fucking Pikmin and this, this is what you give us?  Why do I even bother defending you anymore?

So what is this game, maybe it’s the birth of a new legend, after all Kirby and Pokemon seemed weird at first and shoot even the recent Splatoon was a hit among gamers.  So do you create a Mii and go on adventures?

Wait, what?  No, you don’t go on adventures, it’s just a chat service where you use a Mii you created.  Oh man.  Just, what, I just fucking can’t… I’m out of here <storms off and slams the door>

Okay, I’m back I’ve calmed down.  So looking at this in spite of my disappointment (remember Nintendo, I’m not mad at you, I’m disappointed) this is a very Japanese centered experience and that shouldn’t surprise anyone.  Nintendo is new to all of this and they’re a Japanese company so it shouldn’t surprise us if their first app is one for that market.

But what do I know, maybe this will catch on in the west (doubt it), what do you think?  Are you excited for this app, where instead of texting your Mii chats with another Mii?  Let us know in the comments below.
