NES Classic Dead?

Try Amazon Prime Free for 30 Days

Rumors are abound about that the NES Classic is being discontinued, many stores, especially in Europe are cancelling pre-orders because they don’t think they’ll be getting anymore.

The rumors have persisted so much that Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aimé  has addressed it saying that Nintendo of America is dedicated to producing more NES Classics.  However, even though I was lucky to get one through Amazon Prime NOW, I have yet to actually see an NES Classic or a Classic Controller on a store shelf and many of the big retailers in my area have never gotten a second shipment since launch.

So the NES Classic might be dead outside the US and even in the US.  I see it as Nintendo is gearing up for the Switch launch in just 17 days so I don’t think the NES Classic is their priority, but after the Switch launches and there is still a demand then they’ll probably make more.
