CM Punk Responds To WWE Fans On Twitter

CM Punk took to Twitter to respond to the Rock’s phone call last night, here is what he had to say,

I’m sure he did truly enjoy hearing about last night’s RAW, if it does nothing more it probably at least makes him feel like a made an everlasting affect on pro wrestling, but one can help to wonder if this moment gets enough buzz in the mainstream could Vince McMahon offer out an olive branch to the Straight Edge Superstar and try and woo him back.  We are 40 days out from Mania, maybe not enough time to set up a match, but maybe an appearance.

Even though it was the Rock who did it (and he kind has free reign when he’s on WWE TV) this is the first positive response by the company when it comes to the CM Punk chants, so maybe, just maybe we might be getting somewhere.  I had always said it would take some time before the bridges that were burned would be built again, but maybe last night was the first brick laid to bring Punk back to the WWE for one last run, I mean after all his buddy Joe is making waves and I think the WWE and the fans would love to see a Punk vs Joe rematch in a WWE ring one day.

Where are my manners, allow myself to introduce... ah... myself. I'm Josh, I'm a proud dad and I will probably write the majority of the content you see on this site (and editing 100% of it) because that's my background, writing. I'm an author of two books (Ripper, and Suburban Sky: American Tales) with books three and four on the way... eventually. I also have experience writing for various sites, including Bleacher Report, Redskins101, and more currently you can find me at Goingfor2.com where I write a weekly-ish satirical column. Here are the links to my books if you wish to check them out. Click here for Ripper: http://goo.gl/YGKNSj Click here for Suburban Skies: http://goo.gl/1zrZ6d So that's me in a nutshell. I hope you enjoy the site.
