X-Files coming back for another 10 Episode Season

For all the Fans out there, it’s the truth you’ve been looking for. Fox has been trying to work out deals with series creator Chris Carter and stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson since the series revival premiered last year. In a statement regarding the return of the series, FBC president David Madden had this to say :

“Iconic characters, rich storytelling, bold creators — these are the hallmarks of great TV shows. And they are some of the reasons why The X-Files has had such a profound impact on millions of fans worldwide. Chris’ creativity, along with the brilliant work of David and Gillian, continue to propel this pop culture phenomenon, and we can’t wait to see what fresh mysteries Mulder and Scully uncover in this next chapter of The X-Files.”

 Honestly I’ve never really watched the X-files as a kid. Im not sure why. I always thought that the show had a really cool theme song (though truthfully, the song used to creep me out too) it is cool to see popular shows like this experience a revival, I might even watch it this time around.
