The new Apple TV was unveiled. It wasn’t the TV/Gaming system some thought it might be, but it does have some gaming on it.
Right off the bat it was built on the modern Apple OS, it has HD Motion Screen Savers with night and day settings.
They’ve added Apple Music to it as well.
The new Siri remote has a glass touch surface and is also voice activating.
TV-OS allows for Apps such as Disney Infinity, Guitar Hero, Mayfire (comic books) Crossy Roads (a frogger clone) along with Harmonix (Rockband creator) new game Beat Sports which is similar to Wii Sports.
The TV’s specs are 64 bit A8 chip, 802.11 ac WiFi with Mimo, IR Receiver and 4.0 Blue Tooth.
It will be available in late October with a 32 Gig for $149 and 64 Gig for $199.
