Is Nintendo Killing the Wii U?

It just seems like today is filled with rumors on top of rumors and the latest rumor might be a confirmation of another rumor, it’s like Rumor-inception.

Well according to Nikkei magazine in Japan Nintendo is killing off the failed experiment known as the Wii U this year.  If that were to be the case then it would lead to almost a confirmation of the rumor (news) FunHaus broke last December that the Nintendo NX would be coming out in the fall of 2016 with the announcement coming at E3 this year.

If this rumor is true that doesn’t mean that the Big N will not continue to support Wii U gamers.  There are still many games that are planned to be released this year like Star Fox and Zelda so there will still be games for it and you won’t have to upgrade right away.

With that said, when the new Nintendo system comes out I will more than likely buy it day one, because I’m a weak Nintendo fanboy.
