Greetings True Believers! Time to talk about SHIELD Agents Evolved humans once again. just an FYI I’m still a week behind on Heroes Reborn. that Thursday night time slot is difficult to fit in, but enough of that, lets get started.
Heroes Reborn Episode 5: The Lion’s Den

I have to say now that the different storylines are starting to cross, it is getting better and more interesting. I find myself really liking the twists and turns Carlos’s story is taking even though his costume looks like something Rey Mysterio would wear at Wrestlemania after Batman v. Superman premieres as it is very bat armor esque with a luchador mask. My favorite storylines currently are Miko’s search for her father with the aid of Hiro’s sword and her Pro Gamer Friend and Tommy’s Storyline, both of which are becoming more compelling. Tommy’s especially is becoming more interesting with the revelation of his mother not being his actually mother but one of his protectors along with the strange man with the weird memory wiping pennies. I’m really getting curious as to how everyone is going to fit together as we find out as the viewer what the world is in danger of.
The Story that has gotten more bearable in this episode is Luke’s. though I am not sure where they are going with his. At least they seemingly cleared up whether or not he was Tommy’s Father, but there’s still ten more episodes to go so who knows what can happen. still no old Heroes have returned yet. that part is starting to irritate me, but overall I’m no longer sticking with the show begrudgingly and I really want to see what the next episode will hold. I would have watched it last night but I lost track of time and forgot it was on.
Agents of SHIELD Episode 4: The Devils you Know.
As Heroes Reborn seems to be getting better, now that I’ve had a couple days to digest the episode, SHIELD seems to be going in the other direction, which drives me crazy about this show. I like the characters, I like that they usually tie directly into the MCU. But Damn it do they have a consistency problem on quality. Parts of this week’s episode were good, and I was satisfied with most of it but I really hate the Fitz and Simmons storyline they got going on. I don’t get it and I really don’t give a shit. its really odd. just to recap, Simmons at the end of last season got snached up by the Inhuman’s Monolith and transported to another planet. 2 episodes ago, Fitz rescued her. Now she wants to go back for some reason, probably due to some weird PTSD. Anyway i find this side story annoying and unnecessary.
The main story with the ATCU and the Inhuman hunter, Lash, is better but still kind of annoying. Much like Coulson, I’m having a hard time adjusting to calling Skye Daisy. I kinda wish they just stuck with Skye, it’s a better name and its less confusing to the audience. its kinda like renaming a dog, it’s gonna take a while for me to get used to it I guess.
I hate saying this, but the best story they’ve got going on right now is the one with Hunter trying to kill Ward. I don’t know who’s writing this story but they are either trying to Kiss up to Joss Weadon or they’re trying to get a Job on Game of Thrones cause I did not expect them to kill a larger character like that. I won’t Spoil it for anyone who plans on watching the episode but hasn’t yet but I definitely did not expect that death. The character was not important but I liked him. I don’t know if I’m going to watch next week’s episode because it’s a Simmons episode showing how she survived on that alien world. Boo to that noise.
