Well you knew it was coming dear reader, we all knew this was coming.  STAR WARS: FORCE FRIDAY! Cue the air horn… oh wait, we don’t have that, that’s Nerdist News…shit.

Anyways, Force Friday is here and every nerd, geek, dweb, and outcast couldn’t be more excited.  This morning at 12:00 AM people flocked to Toys R Us’s all over this great country to get their hands on all the latest Star Wars merch.

The hottest toy?  The BB-8 remote controlled droid of course.  Did you get yours?  I got mine dear reader, and though I’ve yet to unbox (because I’m stuck at work), trust me when I say I will be this afternoon.

Also I picked up (though it was released on Tuesday and not today) Disney Infinity 3.0 for my son for the Xbox 360 (though like 2.0 I’m sure daddy will be playing as well).  He doesn’t know we’ve got it though so I have a dilemma, do I put this back for Christmas or do I give it to him now?  It would make a great gift but that would mean I have to wait 3 months to play it as well.  It sucks being a man-child sometimes.

So what did you buy today (or plan to buy) and did you go out at midnight to get your goodies?  Comment below and “May the Force be with you, always.”

Where are my manners, allow myself to introduce... ah... myself. I'm Josh, I'm a proud dad and I will probably write the majority of the content you see on this site (and editing 100% of it) because that's my background, writing. I'm an author of two books (Ripper, and Suburban Sky: American Tales) with books three and four on the way... eventually. I also have experience writing for various sites, including Bleacher Report, Redskins101, and more currently you can find me at where I write a weekly-ish satirical column. Here are the links to my books if you wish to check them out. Click here for Ripper: Click here for Suburban Skies: So that's me in a nutshell. I hope you enjoy the site.
