Well the International Trailer for Ghostbusters is out and well it really doesn’t do much to peak my interest more than the first American trailer.

We get a few more scenes in it and sadly though those few more scene confirmed some of my sneaking suspicions about the film.

First up we get more Chris Hemsworth in this one and we see the hiring process for him, sadly it’s what I thought it would be, him being hunky and the girls immediately fawning for him and he’s hired on the spot.  I was hoping this wouldn’t be the case but it is apparently.

Secondly I thought he wouldn’t be very good at his job and well there we’re not sure about that part just yet, when asked by Melissa McCarthy’s character to design a logo he fucks that up by adding boobs to the ghost and when the girls don’t approve his fix is to make them bigger.

Lastly there is a scene at a concert where Melissa McCarthy and Leslie Jones stage dive.  McCarthy is caught and Jones is not.  First up here, the not catching someone stage dive joke is old and dumb.  I laughed the first time I saw that gag 30 plus years ago and since then I’ve always seen it coming and never laughed again.  Secondly, after Jones hits the ground she loudly says “I don’t know if this was a race thing or a woman thing” which further labels her character as a stereo-typical loud black woman, which again, for a movie trying to be “diverse” and “inclusive” is really fucking up when it comes to race.

Anyways, check out the trailer below, are you more excited or less excited for the movie now that you’ve seen it?  Let us know in the comments below.
