A World War Z Sequel in The Works Guess Who’s Directing?

There has been talk of a sequel to the surprisingly good World War Z which is very loosely based off of the brilliant book of the same name by Max Brookes (I say very loosely because it basically just uses the name of the book), click HERE to check out our comparison of the two.

So with sequel talk going on the latest director who is being talked to is David Fincher, yes the David Fincher of Fight Club, Seven, and Gone Girl is in talks to direct a Zombie movie.  In spite of zombie movies becoming stale Fincher could give it a nice shot in the arm with his dynamic film making and framing of shots.

Fincher is brilliant not only weave great story telling with plot, but also with his visuals. So much so that Chuck Palinuck author of Fight Club said Fincher’s movie rendition of his work is far superior than the book.  So in spite of being bored with zombies at this point, if Fincher signs on for this I’ll be there on opening night with my popcorn and Bunch of Crunch (my go to movie candy).

So what do you think about this possible directing choice (which would also mark the 1000 time Fincher has worked with Brad Pitt)?  Let us know in the comments below.  And as always comeback for more nerdy news, check our our Facebook Page, Twitter, and YouTube channel.
