Nintendo NX Rumor Round Up: Launch Titles?

Like what happens when we’re on the cusp of a new system coming out (especially a Nintendo one) the rumor mill just keeps churning and churning, everything from the power, to internet, to the controller.  What we haven’t heard about is launch titles, yeah I know that’s pretty weird.

Launch titles can make or break a system’s launch, so it’s a bit weird that we haven’t really head any rumors or leaks… UNTIL NOW!  Neo Gaph, Reddit, Twitter user Emily Rogers (who is right far more than she is wrong) have all weighed in on the launch titles and seem to pretty much confirm each other.

So the launch titles are as followed, Mario Maker, Splatoon, Smash Bros., and The Legend of Zelda, all of which Wii U ports.  This doesn’t look too well since the people lining up to buy an NX already have a Wii U and these games, with the exception of Zelda since that has been rumored to launch on both systems.  It also means Nintendo realizes that a lot of people didn’t buy the Wii U and want new adopters to enjoy these awesome games.

So what do you think of these possible launch titles for the NX?  Let us know in the comments below.
