Today on Twitter Nintendo of America tweeted out a pic of their new Nintendo Mini which is a mini version of the original NES. It will come out on November 11 and will have 30 games loaded on to it. Oh man oh man I can’t wait for this. Stay tuned and we’ll let you know when they’re taking pre-orders.
When the console hits stores in November it will retail for $60 and come with one controller which will also work with your Wii remotes for the Wii and Wii U Virtual Console, so my hope (because they don’t say if they will) if the Wii Pro-controllers will work on the Mini-NES so those of us who own them won’t have to buy a second controller.
Here’s the complete list of games:
- Balloon Fight
- Bubble Bobble
- Castlevania
- Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
- Donkey Kong
- Donkey Kong Jr.
- Double Dragon II: The Revenge
- Dr. Mario
- Excitebike
- Final Fantasy
- Galaga
- Ghosts’N Goblins
- Gradius
- Ice Climber
- Kid Icarus
- Kirby’s Adventure
- Mario Bros.
- Mega Man 2
- Metroid
- Ninja Gaiden
- Pac-Man
- Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream
- StarTropics
- Super C
- Super Mario Bros.
- Super Mario Bros. 2
- Super Mario Bros. 3
