I said this last week with the NES Classic shortage, but Nintendo, you’re making it really really hard for me to defend you anymore, especially now that there are rumors that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is going to be delayed again.

This is starting to reach The Last Guardian levels of delays now.  Announced back in 2013 just as The Legend of Zelda Wii U, we got our first glance at Link in all new and stunning HD.  Then we got nothing.  Then E3 2014 we got our first teaser of Breath of the Wild and were told 2015 would be the release, then it was 2016, then it was rumored it would be pushed back to March 2017 to be a Wii U and Switch title and now it’s looking to be delayed again.

Nintendo insider Emily Rodgers (who has been very accurate with Nintendo leaks) is reporting that Nintendo is having trouble localizing the game because of its massive size.  Localization could take until this December and then a massive bug test which could take 4-6 months which means the game might slip to summer, so that sucks.  So our only hope is the game isn’t buggy and that testing doesn’t take too long.  Keep your fingers crossed loyal reader.
