Fallout 4 Mods Stolen?

Bethesda had probably hoped that when they were bringing PC mods over to consoles for Fallout 4 that it would be all sunshine and flowers, but this is a Bethesda game so of course there were bound to be some hurtles.

The latest batch of bugs is that people are stealing PC mods and uploading them to the Xbox One.  Basically so well known mods from the PC have been popping up on the Xbox One but not by the original creators.

Modders are asking Bethesda to step in and police it and Bethesda’s response was that the creators of the mod need to files a copyright claim to have the stolen mods removed from Xbox One.

It’s a slippery slope and if Xbox One players want to have nice things like Mods it would be nice if they didn’t steal them.  Chances are most modders (even ones who hate consoles) will eventually get their stuff up on Xbox Live because like any game developer it will allow their creations to reach a wider audience and raise their chances to get donations.

Moral of the story, don’t be a dick and don’t steal.

Where are my manners, allow myself to introduce... ah... myself. I'm Josh, I'm a proud dad and I will probably write the majority of the content you see on this site (and editing 100% of it) because that's my background, writing. I also have experience writing for various sites, including Bleacher Report, Redskins101, and more currently you can find me at Goingfor2.com where I write a weekly-ish satirical column. Here are the links to my books if you wish to check them out. Click here for Ripper: http://goo.gl/YGKNSj Click here for Suburban Skies: http://goo.gl/1zrZ6d So that's me in a nutshell.
