Poe, Rey, Finn

Color me saddened and not really too surprised.  Disney Infinity was a cool concept that I got behind after volume 2 included Marvel Super heroes (except those who’s movies are held by Fox) and the volume 3 brought us Star Wars (both old and new) so it seemed liked it would continue to be the juggernaut that it started out with.

However, with Disney’s in house gaming studio reporting a loss of $147 million loss, mostly due to unsold Infinity playsets.  I’m assuming that the round of toys to games (that aren’t amiibos) are on their way out.  I think mostly this is due to the high buy in of the initial playset that is usually upwards of $80 and then the figures anywhere from $10 to $30.

So after the Alice: Through the Looking Glass set comes out there will be no more Disney Infinity.
