Digital Resales Coming to the Xbox One?

Xbox sent out a survey this week and the main question was whether or not consumers would be willing to sell back their digital games.

The ability to resell games in one advantage hard copies and is probably one of the main reasons why digital video game sales (on consoles) haven’t approached what they are with movies and music.  And the lack of this function (something gamers are used to doing) have kept digital sales at bay.

However, this might be coming to an end, well at least on the Xbox and for a pittance.  Right now, if it happens the plan is to give players just $6 back.  Yes it’s not a lot of money but it’s more than what gamers are getting right now for digital games they don’t play anymore.

Personally, I’d like a system in place where you can either gift these games to friends at no charge or a market place where you can sell them via the Xbox Live store.  Ideally the prices would be set by the market, where sellers would choose their price (like say ebay) and buyers can search for the lowest price.

Anyways, what do you think dear reader?  Does this excite you?  What about the price?  Let us know in the comments below.
