Over the weekend a Reddit post popped up from Reddit user daymeeuhn, in his post he claimed (which he backed up with photos and videos) of purchasing a copy of No Man Sky off of eBay for over 1300 dollars. His reasoning for that was that he wanted an uninterrupted, and unspoiled impression of the game. Reasoning that is fine enough for me because if that’s what he wants to spend his money on, more power to him.
As of writing this he’s logged over 30 hours of game play in and has said he’s reached the center of the Universe (which is the goal) and has offered up some very positive things like no two planets ever seem alike (which is good since this is what the game maker boasts) and that he’s overall enjoyed his experience.
However there are also some bad things. He mentioned there are a lot of bugs in the game and that it would have done better had the game had an open beta test. Certain things are that sea creatures spawn in shallow waters completely vertical, and the game crashes a lot. He offers the advice of saving your game a lot.
However, he’s been playing the game before it launches and since it hasn’t launched yet there isn’t the possibility for a patch just yet. Hello Games is probably well aware of these bugs and probably have a day one patch ready for when the game launches next week.
So does this worry you about the game many have been waiting years to play? Let us know in the comments below.
