12-0 Baddest woman on the planet Ronda Rousey would like Marvel to consider her for the role of Captain Marvel.

“A lot of the good ones have already been taken, so I’d vie for Ms. Marvel”

Ms. Marvel being Carroll Danvers before she got promoted by Marvel to be  one of their marque characters.  Rousey, who is not new to acting, her credits consist of Fast 7, The Expendables 3, and Entourage.  Her performances have all been decent, she’s no Best Actress nominee, but with the right director she could be a very good Captain Marvel.

What might stand in Rousey’s way though is that Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow) has been rumored for the role.  Blunt is by far the more accomplished actress but I don’t know of a female who hotter right now than Rousey.  Also Rousey would more than likely come way cheaper than Blunt and Marvel is a bit on the cheap side when it comes to paying actors who aren’t named Robert Downey Jr, just ask Terrance Howard.

So what do you think of Rousey as Carroll Danvers?  Me personally I like the idea of seeing her kick butt on the big screen, though Emily Blunt is the role would be great as well.
