Okay Marvel fans you want Spider-Man back at Marvel again without Sony?  Well the key to that might be to stop buying PS4s.  The Know is reporting that right now Sony Pictures is being kept afloat by their video game division.

Sony Pictures have been struggling since 2014 and have been making less and less money each year as opposed to PS4 which has been making money hand over fist.  To put it in perspective, Sony Pictures only made just over 800 million dollars this year, Captain America: Civil War made over a billion dollars alone for Disney, so, Sony Pictures isn’t doing as well as one Disney movie.

Sony hasn’t officially said this yet, but it has been heavily implied by people close to Sony is that the PS4 is picking up the slack for Sony’s failing departments, i.e., film, cell phones, and life insurance.  Even though Sony is now working with Marvel I think every fanboy wants them sell it back to Marvel so Marvel has full control, and how do we do that (not to mention getting rid of the possibility of another terrible Ghostbusters remake or MIB movie)?  Simple, stop buying PS4s.

In all seriousness, I’m not surprised by this since Sony Pictures has been struggling lately.  Their last two Spider-Man movies weren’t very good and didn’t do as well as they hoped, Ghostbusters was terrible, 22 Jump Street and MIB 3 didn’t meet expectations so smaller profits aren’t surprising.

So what do you think loyal reader?  Does the possibility of Spidey coming home make you want to rethink a PS4 Pro Purchase?  Let us know in the Comments below.
